It’s been a bit since my last post, but I wanted to check in with the current state of facesitting in my relationship. My top has decided “brutal” sessions should play a prominent role in our day-to-day routine. Sometimes she’s nice and we have a fun time. Other time, she wants to bring me to the edge of what I can handle and play with that line – that’s the brutality she’s looking for.

In exploring this topic, we’ve come up with a series of different looks of what brutal can mean on a given day. I’ll write more about this soon, but here’s a starting point

Core “Brutal Is…” Mantra

“Brutal is placed.
Brutal is held.
Brutal is changed.
Brutal doesn’t ease.”

Control-Focused Version

“Brutal is what I place.
Brutal is what I keep.
Brutal is what I change.
Brutal is mine to decide.”

Cruelty-Leaning Version

“Brutal is feeling it build.
Brutal is carrying it forward.
Brutal is knowing I could ease…
and choosing not to.”

Escalation Version

“Brutal is enough…
then more.
Then more again.”

Edge-Holding Version

“Brutal is right there.
Not past it.
Not eased.
Held.”

Ultra-Condensed (Looping)

“Brutal is placed.
Brutal builds.
Brutal doesn’t ease.”

My favorite sessions would definitely follow the escalation model… “and then more again” She knows me so well!

  1. Hi! It’s so nice to read you again! ☺️ You guys, the writing in this post feels so expressive, it’s poetry really 🫶

And this makes me think about how this is applicable for both sides (top and bottom).
